I believe there was a similar topic in the off-topic section Long basic stripe is 35 min. The Dixie is great for guys that have a mowing crew and trailer the mower all day - easier to get two on a trailer when they are short. Heavy Duty fully welded frame machine. I have replaced everything on the mower at least once but the motor keeps right on with no loss in power.
The rest of the mower was high quality as well but most others were using Kohler or Briggs and a cheaper diesel. I like a longer mower than the Dixie, they ride smoother. Long basic stripe is 35 min. Lots of nice mowers out there. I can't tell you how important it is to try them on the same plot for an apples to apples comparison.
My second choice would be Simplicity zero turns This year I wanted to trade my old classic for a new classic. When I worked for a pro service we had a and Scag zero turn on the trailer together at all times. I just bought the gravely IMO an I am not a professional mower , all of the big name commercial grade mowers are nearly identical, except for a little styling.
